Merry Christmas

Those that knew me in high school will recognize the name. For the others, I was Elwood to almost everyone once upon a time. Wrote this about 10 yrs ago. Merry Christmas.

It was Christmas Eve,
an we were all at the bar
When this old man came in
And said,"Who owns that car?"

I looked around the room,
The regulators all grinned.
"It depends," I said.
"Which one do you mean?"

Sweeping his arms long and low he said,
"The purple and white Cad.
I'm broke down and need
To borrow it bad."

The room grew quiet
As all eyes turned toward me,
For the car was mine
And only I had the key.

I spoke not a word
As he came over carrying his bag.
"I know its yours," he said.
"I read it on your tag."

Calmly I sat there,
Surprised that I could.
Then he bent to my ear, whispering,
"Don't you remember me, Elwood?"

Sitting there stunned,
The past suddenly came back,
For who could forget the eyes, the laugh,
And of course, his bulging pack?

Suddenly I knew it was OK.
The car would be back, nary a scratch.
And I heard him say,
"I know the paint would be hard to match."

I tossed him the key.
They landed in his hand.
"Be careful," I warned.
"Don't spin out in the sand."

The request was granted.
He started to leave,
Then I reached behind the bar,
Grabbed a package and gave it a heave.

As he opened it he looked at me,
His eyes starting to fill,
'Cause the shirt was his size
And read, "Property of Elwood's Bar and Grill".

He slipped it on
And started to fill his pipe.
I turned to wink at Susan,
And then he was gone from sight.

I wanted the others to see,
So I had to think fast.
"Quick! To the front windows!"
I managed at last.

To the windows we all went,
Quick as a flash.
Except for ol' Chris,
And he fell with a crash.

I pulled him up
And what would appear,
But the Cad, St. Nick,
And eight tiny reindeer.

We stood there amazed,
Silenced by surprise.
For on the hood was Rudolph,
With fog lights for eyes.

Then all was calm
When the Cad was gone from sight
And the bar emptied early,
For it was Christmas eve night.

Later I sat by myself,
My chest full of pride,
For I had saved Christmas,
But I wished I had went along for the ride.

Then I heard Santa cry
As I turned out the light,
"Merry Christmas to all,
And, Elwood, sleep good tonight!"

Shine!:)

This weekend Madison and I went to Salina, Ks to Shine.Last year Madison went and had lots of fun!So she talked me (made me) in to going.Shine is a conference for teen girls to learn about God! We did lots of fun things when we got there! I didn't want to be the only 6th grader by myself to go to where the 6th graders were supposed to go.The 7th and 8th graders were together. Soo I was a 7th grader for two days! We talked about 10 things to think about before making a decision and what a true guys heart should like. We had this drawing to do you got either a Manly Man or a Girly Guy. We had a Girly Guy and I should say that our picture was pretty funny!:)
We also sang songs in the mornings and afternoons. I met this great girl band called Eternity Focus, who is my new favorite band!:) They have some great songs! Eternity Focus who is a group of sisters who are in a band together. The oldest was the shortest(which I thought was pretty funny). We end up talking to them. My friend Taylor wanted to say hi so we all went over there and talked for awhile. They asked if we played sports and we said Volleyball, Basketball and Track. The oldest asked me if I played post and asked me what grade I was in. I said yes and 6. She didn't think I was a 6th grader. I had a lot of fun! And look forward to going next year! And, Madison you were right!:( I love being right so this is kind of sad.

Love,Hannah

Birthday Wish(:

So, you all will have to bear with me through this particular blog. Ha, I'm not really sure how I want to say everything so it might be a little crazy. Just a prewarning.
July 23rd would have been my Popo's birthday. Now, I think dad probably would have posted on here about it, but we were on vacation without any internet service, so he really didn't have any way to do it. Ha, and I'm aware how late this post really is!
Unlike when dad talked about Granny K's birthday, I can't tell you how old he would be now. Or, how many siblings he had. I'm not to great about remembering those kinds of things! I guess ask dad, he'd be able to tell you.
This is my favorite picture of Popo and me. :) As you can tell, it's a rather old picture. It was taken in our living room, right after mom and dad bought the house,(i don't know if we were living here yet) while we were just beginning the 'fixing up' process. Ha,and don't ask about the name, it's just what we had and will be what we always call him as. :)I don't even think I know the reason we called him that, it must have just stuck after someone said it once.
I have so many memories with him; camping out in their room on this little fold up bed, getting folded up in it somehow, and then waking up next to him in their bed the next morning when i was like, five?! Or, sitting out on the swing on the front porch seeing how high we could make it go before Granny K finally said something, lighting and helping blow out his 80-some candles on a cake one year for a birthday(that did, or should have made the skome alarm go off!), and knowing I could always find the toy box under his desk in the back room. These are only just a couple that I remember. Plus he could fix just about anything, and if he couldn't then..... well I can't remember him NOT being able to fix something. :) He also kept just about anything, there was so much stuff when we went through everything in the garage!
Dad wished Granny K a happy birthday, and I kinda just wanted to do the same for Popo. Just to say that and to share some of my memories with him, to my family. Miss/Love you bunches Popo!

Why, hello there officer... :/

So for my life I have this list, something I call a bucketlist, of things I would like to be able to do/accomplish before I finally get to meet my Lord. It includes multiple things, such as skydiving with friends Blakey Poo and Claudia!, traveling the world, creating a blog-completed, and just another one for kicks and giggles, breaking the law. This last one, I accomplished yesterday morning on my way to work. :/ Trust me, I didn't plan on checking this one off for a verrrryyyyy long time! An honestly I was thinking more along the lines of something like, not wearing my seat belt while driving when I wrote this particular one down on The Bucketlist.

Just so you are aware, I'm really only blogging about this because well, you all will eventually find out about this sooner or later, and I figured this was easier then telling some of my family in person. haha:)

Yesterday(Friday), I was supposed to be at work around 8:30. I was really supposed to be there at 6:50ish, but the night before(Thursday) we had a storm and the people I babysit for had gotten some major wind damage at their house. Since the mom was away for work, the dad just decided he work just go to work a little bit later Friday morning, that way he could stay up Thursday night and pick up/fix/clean some of the damage. I think, that if the storm hadn't of happened I probably wouldn't have stopped. justsaying. :) But, that was why I didn't have to be there that early.
Already running late because I hadn't been paying attention to the time while getting ready, I knew that I would be a little late. Well, I was a lot later than I thought I would be. I had my cruise set at 70, on what I thought was a 65 mph road on my way there. Guess What! Turns out though the speed limit is not 65 mph, but actually only 55mph. :/ Yeah, didn't know that. Hhhh.

For your info, I am really a cautious driver, I've always disliked driving by police cars, having one pass by me, or anything like that. So you can only imagine how nervous I was when I stopped and realized, oh crud, I don't have my license with me. :/ Oh, it gets better. He told me his name, asked me my hurry, told me why he stopped me, blah, blah, blah. Then asked for my license and insurance card, which then I explained my little situation and then got the card. Guess What! that wasn't the current card. :/ Then, I have to tell him all this info because I don't have anything with me, all while on the inside I'm flipping out.

While he is in his car, doing whatever he does, filling out my ticket:( , I first inform Nathan that I'm going to be a little bit later than planned, then text my mom and let her know what happened. Not the best feeling in the world, let me tell you.

I ended up at work around, 8:45?, talk about not on time. After finishing telling mom all about this and answering all her questions, she just said that these things happen and wasn't upset, thank goodness. I then went on to tell my dad about the ticket and do you want to know his response?
"Well, now you have something to blog about."-My dad. :) ha.

So there you have it, my first speeding ticket. :( My first time breaking the law. Another item with a big ole X next to it on my list. Since 'breaking the law' is now checked off, I plan on paying for the dumb thing and trying never to do it again.... Or at least not get caught doing it. ;)

Lake!/Life! hehe...(:

Hannah, Mom, and I having been dying to go to the lake for the longest time. So when the opportunity came to go yesterday, we took it!( :

Hannah had a softball game in Coldwater last night to play and the ball diamonds are conveniently located right next to the lake.: ) We got into the lake around 2:30 and ended up staying until about 10 minutes before her game at 6. There were hardly anyone there and maybe like, three boats/jet ski's (I want one sooooo bad!)so it made the afternoon very calm and quiet. Funny story: One guy on a jet ski came over to load his up, as he was coming back over mom turned around and goes, "Madison! did you right on his jet ski?!?!" I was like I didn't touch it! I was only looking! Ha she came into the water after he left and told us, the front of it had Madison written in the dirt on it! I was like maybe he named it....? like people do cars? : ) guess you just had to be there.

With us we took my friend, Claudia, one of the foreign exchanges at our school this year, and although it wasn't her first time at the lake she said she had lots of fun. Ha she tried to teach Hannah and me a few German words, but that didn't turn out sounding to pretty. Hannah did actually do pretty well at repeating them after her tho! On a sad note, Claudia leaves the 28Th this month. : ( I'd like to say that We have gotten pretty close over the past school year, and I am definitely goinng to miss her. I don't think she's quite ready for her to leave either. She's gotten close to some us just here recently, that she wishes could of happened earlier in the school year. :/ Buttttt on the bright side!, she does plan on visiting soon! : )

Hannah's team didn't end up winning but they did play their little hearts out. Plus only like three girls have even played since t-ball, so none of us are expecting a win every game, just hoping that they have fun playing and want to again next year! Hannah did well, she could have had a home run again!, but decided for the first time to listen to her coach and stop at third. hhhh. Maybe she'll have one in the next game!
Alsooooo, dad if you read this before you get home Thursday, tell Ronnnie to send you home early! We all miss you very muchly! And agree that you need to get your butt home!! (he's been gone all week this week, all of last week, and had to work both Saturday and Sunday. :/)

Well, anyways I must finish this post up now. I have to go to work :) Thank goodness it wasn't a real early morning today! I'll fill you all in on our crazy? sometimes dull? life some other time. :) ttfn....

Sigh..... I'm so sorry.. :( I know its been like month since I last blogged. :/ I hate to say this, but I'm almost as bad as dad was with slackin on keeping you all updated. Almost. Not quite. So I guess I'll just allow this post to be about, well everything. So, I'm going to warn you now that this could definitely be a long blog. And I'll try to get more consistent in the future.

I'm SIXTEEN! WOO HOO! No, it doesn't feel any different from being 15. Other than the fact that I'm still calling myself 15 occasionally . :/ I don't wanna grow up! haha.... Sorry but this movie line just has to be thrown in, it kinda goes with not wanting to grow up? lol....
" I don't want to go to school, I wanna stay home and bake cookies with you mommy."
:) Name that movie?---- If you're like my boyfriend, who doesn't ever watch movies, you won't be able too..Buttt, its Space Jam. You know, with Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny playing basketball? :)If you haven't seen it, you should watch it. Come on over you can watch it with me and Brian. He hasn't seen it, or the Gooonies?!? I mean who in the world hasn't watched the Goonies.? butttt that's completely off topic. Sorry I'm kinda random and not very good with staying on track.
ANYWAYS! I got some wonderful presents for my birthday, Hannah made me a gorgeous stain glass window of a cross and bible verse.( I heart crosses! No certain types in particular, I love all styles. I have like 15 on my wall already.:) ) Mommy and Daddy got me a new blanket I've been begging for, for like ever and more crosses!. Also a huge, 41 pictures, frames. I have yet to attempt to fill it all. Oh! and Itunes cards from family! Those are already all used up. Music is amazing:) I also got my last precious moment figure. :( It's so pretty!
I should probably included my picnic, mom could possibly be very upset if I do not. She arranged it all:) I have the best mommy in the entire world, no lie. She had Brian come kidnap me for a couple of hours to take me to his pond, for a picnic. very sweet. <3 Plus, after we left she, Taylor, Hannah, and dad began filling a ton of water balloons for a surprise water balloon fight with all my friends. It was great, I have some amazing friends and an awesome family, all whom I love.
School is finally over! Wittle Hannah is now in 6th grade, officially in junior high. :( She's getting so big. :'( I'm now a Junior. To be honest, I have mixed feelings about it so far. Summer is here though! We're all excited about that! I think none of us were mentally in school for about the last 3 weeks, only physically there..... Goodbye homework and boring classes! Hello scrapbooking, sleeping, and swimming! :)
Guess who is playing softball this year?!? that is correct, my baby sissy! I'm so excited! haha. She decided to play fast pitch softball this summer with some friends. Trust me, Hannah is a beast. Seriously. I think the only thing she doesn't like about it is her number, which is 6. Her actual words to me about the number 6 were, literally, " Oh, look at me! I'm tiny, wittle number 6. I don't do anything, I'm so cool. NOT." Mom has mutual feeling towards the number as Hannah. I think they were hoping for number 17, like Marla, Colby, and Bubba had. Other than that I think she is happy about playing. They lost their first game 14-22, which I honestly think was rigged. I have yet to figure out how the other team pulled it off, but it was. She plays again tonight in Bucklin, this one will most definitely be a win. Also she doesn't know this yet, but she is going to have a home run tonight. I can feel it in my bones. :)
As for softball, guess who's playing this weekend? Me:/ I am super duper nervous about this. I haven't played since like t-ball. So, it'll be interesting.
So far, mom and dad have been pretty busy working this summer. If they aren't working, you can usually find them watering/planting/outside messing with the flowers, if they can't be found in the house. :) the backyard is so pretty with all the flowers.
Well, that's all I have for now. I think, hmmm... Oh! I know! My Mommy's birthday is coming up! :) The 28th to be exact! I don't know her thoughts about that tho. :) haha I love you mommy!

Busy, Busy, Busy.

So, for starters, I would like to apologize for not blogging anytime here recently. I've been extremely busy or I might just feel that way! My excuse for my lack of writing is, I really haven't been home the past two weekends with Easter and band trip, andddd the time I am at home I try to be studying for assessments or working intensely on yearbook. :( But, have no fear I plan on filling you in on everything!

EASTER! :) All the Pictures aren't on this computer, so I'll add them later or that might not happen. haa not sure. I will say tho we all looked pretty dang fine! For Easter we went down to Medicine Lodge to be with Dad's side of the family. EVERYONE was there. It was so much fun with all the little Fowler kids running around. Hannah and I even got to play house. haa:) All the kids got bubbles as gifts and Casen went crazy over them. Pretty sure someone was constantly making bubbles for him to pop. Oh! Also I got new crosses for my wall! :)

BANDTRIP!!!!..... was so much fun! The eight hour bus ride to Arlington and back was not the best time, but wasn't completely horrible either. The first night there we went to the Hard Rock Cafe. Let me tell you, their bathrooms are IMPRESSIVE! :) The group of girls I was with took many mirror pictures in there, while waiting for our food. haa. The food was alright I think with 30 people ordering it was a little hard to keep track of everything and to keep everything warm I suppose. The second started with hottubbing/swimming at 7:30 in the morning.:) Chance, Brian, Taylor E., and I had the whole place to ourselves til about 10ish. Then we went to the mall, which btw, is four stories high! and includes a ice skating rink! :) Oh, and the Dallas Cowboy's Stadium was pretty cool too! That place is huge, no lie. The guys were pretty excited to play football there, and I think our guy sponsors were just as excited as the guys were. :)
Six flags was fun but very hot. We were there for 7 hours and I rode about 9 rides? I think that's about right. We rode the largest roller coaster in Texas there also, The Titan. Google it, you'll be impressed.! It didn't top my Rip Cord experience tho. The ride back was...interesting. It rained and I guess our bus has never had to deal with that before. My window leaked so bad that We ended up duct taping the outside and then taping a towel to the inside. Several other windows had to be fixed also. That made for a very cranky group of high schoolers.

Other than those two events, I haven't done much except things for school. The year is about over so its time to prepare for finals and assessment, plus finishing up yearbook. To get everyone else's update on life, I guess they'll just have to blog also. As for me I'm tired and think its time for some shut eye. Night:)

OH! OH! OH! before I get off, guess who's 16th birthday is next Wednesday? Mine! :) YAY!

My Mom

Tomorrow, April 19, would have been my moms 83rd birthday. She was the fourth of ten kids. Nine girls and one boy. Bet you can't guess who was spoiled the most!

Three years ago when she turned 80 we celebrated at the Nursing Home in Attica. If I remember correctly, all of her siblings were there except the youngest, Sue. It was a fun day. It is always interesting for me when the older generation start telling stories. You never know what you will hear. I have always thought that those stories are very important. I have also learned that it is very important to document these stories when you have the chance.

Mom was always a simple person. When I say this I mean she didn't need a lot to be happy. Of course, she liked nice things and always wanted her house to be clean and tidy, but when you would ask what she needed, she would answer "I have everything I need." When mom and dad were moving to the Nursing Home, Mom knew what would go with them and what would stay at the house in Medicine Lodge and what would go with us kids. She had several quilts that went to Attica. One on the wall and one on the bed. They had a picture of Jesus that hung on the wall at home as long as I can remember. It went with them. There was a book case that Dad made for his Mom. It went with them. Moms white cabinet from the kitchen went with them. Several items had to stay in Medicine Lodge. And several things came to my house. One was Moms 'birdcage'. This was a curved glass cabinet she had bought several years ago. She had always said that was to be Hannahs. It now sits in our living room.

But, in the long run, these are just material items. They have some value, but not like the value of the memories we all cherish. I remember mom and dad coming and working on our house. One time they were sanding drywall in what is now Madison's room. Mom slipped and fell off of a stepstool. The ambulance came, she was placed on a gurney and wheeled outside. Susan and I practically had to pry Dad away from the drywall so we could go to the hospital in Dodge City. The next day Mom was on crutches walking outside, when a neighbor stopped by. It turned out he knew my Uncle John and had worked with him. More stories to be heard.

Those other material things? The picture of Jesus and Dads bookcase? They are at my house now. And, hopefully, someday they will go to my kids homes. Because they are memories not to be forgotten.

I love you, Mom. Tell Dad I love him. I think about you a lot. I miss you. But, I will see you again. Ivan

PROM:)

PROM.

-shoes;check.

-dress;check.

-nails done;check.

-hairrrr;check.

-memories?; made. :)

I had so much fun at prom. I spent four entire hours dancing away with my friends. I have to say it was probably a good thing that they had sophomore servers this year, because after about a hour and a half it was only about 7 people getting down:) ha. Gentry and I danced to almost every single song. At one point we were just turning in circles again and again. haha I'm so glad that we're best friends. We were dancin' fools. Even the slow songs, I think I slow danced with her at least twice. Oh by the way, she looked like an absolute doll on prom night. I mean she always does, but especially then. :)

Brian and I went together, and well I'm going to have to say we looked pretty dang good! :) We decided that he would choose and surprise me with his tux and then the flowers, so I had no clue what color everything would be. He did good. Picked my favorite color:purple. :) plus, I got roses! I've been asking Brian for some for FOREVER! Pretty huh?? Here's some pictures!
Funny Facess!

Favorite picture! :) Cute Couple!

From Dress Up to PROM

Tonight was my wonderful big sissy, Madi's first PROM! She has always liked to play dress up with her friends. Here is a picture of those days.

Bucklin only has a Junior-Senior prom.As a Sophomore she had be invited by a upper classman to go. Her boyfriend Brian was asked to be a server and he could bring a date. So, several weeks ago the dress shopping began. After trying on dresses(more like one hundred)in Wichita and Kansas City, she found the one. The only problem was it was too long. So a couple weeks ago we went to Medicine Lodge, to see our wonderful Aunt Rie. We stayed that day and Madi got her dress fixed. After that Madi has been really excited to go. I believe she had been counting down. So after weeks of waiting to go she finally got to go tonight.Madi is (and has always ) looked beautiful. Our cousin Colby came out to help out with Madi's hair and make up. She looked really pretty tonight. Heres a couple pictures of Madi and Brian.

Time To Praise The Lord, Time To Represent! :) --I Love My Jesus Deep Down In My Heart!

First off sorry bout the super duper long title! This weekend, was probably the longest/most amazing/most spiritual weekend ever! I attended my first and definitely not my last FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Conference, where they pack what feels like 3 weeks worth of activities and worship into two days. I got to meet amazing people, learn about Jesus anddddd gave my life to him!(:

Saturday, at FOUR in the morning, us five kids and our FCA leader left to go spend the following 36 hours at the Rock Springs 4-h Center. Its was about a four hour drive there. We arrived at about 8:30ish and I begin my day, a day that felt like an entire week packed into one.

The first thing I see is 54 college kids(our huddle leaders) yelling at each other, standing on a rock wall, and singing songs. Then I notice that there's like 200 kids standing around there also yelling and singing. My stomach literally dropped. I was like, I think I'm goin to be sick. :( I don't like making new friends or talking to people I don't know. After I say this our FCA leader imforms us that we'll be seperated into different groups and won't see each other all that much. at this point I was wanting to go home.no lie.

I then go on to meet my absolutely awesome huddle leader, who we all called PV.:) Who has made each girl in our huddle BUZZ LIGHTYEAR HEADBANDS! My weekend suddenly got brighter. Dude, she's loves buzz too! Afterwards I find out that I'll be staying the weekend with 11 other girls in a two room cabin the rest of the weekend. Long story short, I think all of us girls became pretty tight pretty dang fast.

I can't tell you to much about Saturday here because there are way too many stories I would want to share and this is already going to be a super long blog, I can tell. But I will tell you that I spent most of that night crying my eyes out. And that it was for sure happy tears coming out. Saturday night at around 10:30 I gave my life to God. Saying that and talking about it is still bringing tears to my eyes. That was my favorite moment of the whole trip. My next favorite was the fact that another girl who came with me gave her life to Big-J( as PV would call him, she has a ton of names for him:)anddd Brian did also! It is amazing what God can do when you give him control!

Sunday was sad day. It seemed to fly by. But I had just as much fun as Saturday. oh and competitions were great! We didn't win the towel(prize for best record in competition) tho. Brian and Chance's group both had a perfect record, but Brian's group won the tiebreaker:rock, paper, scissors( i so called that game too, just saying!).

Once back at Bucklin we all told mom and Gentry all about it. I'm making her go next time even if I have to drag her there! then we told stories and talked the rest of the night. today we were all soooooooooo tired! but agreed it was totally worth it.

By the end I wasn't even close to being ready to leave. I had an absolute blast and cannot wait til the fall conference. The girls I met and PV helped me so much and in so many ways i can't explain unless its in person! So I'm now ask me sometime in best if about FCA if you wanna hear so great stories! I'm gonna close with my huddles signature:)

All my bearcats call with me now! ugggghhhhhhrrrrrrr! :) haha best time ever!

P.s- do you love your Jesus deep down in your heart?? Let the answer be yes, the feeling is wonderful when you do!

She's a smartie!

Today's post is about my little sissy Hannah Banana. Yesterday, Hannah attended "math contest", for the second year in a row.(She's the smart child, I'm the fun one! :) jk)

Math Contest explanation= When a whole bunch of little 4th thru 8th grade math geniuses go and take math tests all day in Greensburg..

This year, 27 fifth graders from our surrounding league went. Now, not to brag or anything, buuuuuutttttttttttt I'm going to have to say that I think I have a math genius as a little sister:) who of which I am very proud of. She's gone to this contest both her 4th and 5th grade years, each time placing in a least one category.

This year she got:
  • FIFTH in problem solving, this category contains the worst math problems ever because most are word questions.
  • FIFTH in geometry! woo hoo!
  • NINTH in mental math. which means the little smartie pants answered all the problems without using a calculator on any problem. Which is something I can hardly even do anymore.
Now need I remind you that there were 27 students there and she placed in all three tests? I think she's brilliant. haaaa mostly because I was never smart enough to be chosen to go when I was little. I'm going to have to say she did pretty dang good representing Bucklin junior high. :)

Well that's all for now! peace(: hehe

Countdowns(:

What do you get when you have 53 minutes of pure boredom(biology)?...... An agenda book full of countdowns!(: let me show you what i mean. haha
  • 41 days until my sixteenth birthday!!! Now, I have been looking forward to my sweet sixteen since about...my fifteenth birthday. Okay, maybe not that long, but for quite awhile, I mean its my SWEET SIXTEEN!(: I have I mentioned I just a tad bit excited? haaa the main reason of this is because I am one of the youngest kids out of my group of close friends..there's only one other younger than me. Yes, I still consider myself a kid, even tho most teenagers would not like being called so. I say that until I'm not living with my mommy and daddy I am still considered a kid.
  • 16 days- PROM!...what else is there to say about this topic? I mean seriously its prom. Besides the fact that, I get to feel like a pretty princess in a very pretty dress and have a absolute blast with a great group of friends.
  • 28 days- Until Band Trip! We're going down to Texas For 4 days, and its something I've been looking forward to since I started band. No, I don't consider myself a band geek, for those who don't really know me..but I love music, and enjoy band quite a lot.:) We'll go to six flags- I lllloooovvvveee rides, especially rollar coasters. We plan on touring the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and attending a baseball game. I'm thinking about sitting the game out the game tho.
Well there you have it. I would have to admit that it was a very productive 53 minutes of my lifetime!
Oh and another thing I'm very pumped about is..... being a SPANISH DANCER:) during this year's Peace Treaty that takes place in Medicine Lodge. This one isn't present on the countdown because it'll take place in September. I've wanted to be one as long as I can remember and finally convinced Hannah Banana to be my partner in it. I love her.(: She's the best. Well I'd say that's plenty for tonight. Thanks for listening, or rather reading I guess.

My First Blog! :)

I've decided that dad has failed miserably on keeping everyone updated on our lives here lately. :) I've reached this conclusion because of the fact that he hasn't blogged in about six months! After constantly bugging him to give me the password, he gave in. The main reason I wanted the password is because that having a blog is on my bucketlist. :) So, now I guess I'm supposed to inform everyone on my life? Just so everyone knows, this is the first blog I've ever done, and well I'm just gonna wing it. So don't judge!
We celebrated Hannah's 11th birthday on the 20th down at Aunt Carol and Uncle Rick's house. My little sissy is getting so dang old:( She had been with Marla and Justin that week and so they were there too. We went paintballing, watched a lot of basketball, and went rollar-skating with them; It was a blast! Mom dominated in paintball, and KU won their game that Friday(my family are hhhhuuuuggggeeee KU fans, btw), so it was a very good weekend.
For Hannah's birthday, the Broxtermans got her the book "Heaven Is For Real." Hannah finished it rather quickly and both her and Marla said it was really good, so I asked if I could borrow it. I literally could not put it down. Finished it all today! :) Its a great book about a little boys account of his trip to Heaven. I won't say anything else about it, but I would definitely suggest reading it! :)
Last weekend we went down to Medicine Lodge so my wonderful Aunt Rie could hem my, pause for effect.... PROM DRESS! :) It's very pretty! It also took me two whole days of trying on dresses and lots of driving to find it. No kidding, ask my mom, who of which, was there the entire time. Anddd Colby and Jacob, who also helped me pick it out! Btw, thank you Jacob for all the input(he reminds me lots of Brian, so I asked for his opinion multiple times:) )We finally found it in Kansas City when we went up to Topeka to celebrate Addy's birthday. Prom is April 16th and at first I honestly wasn't too excited about the idea of going, but now I've got multiple friends going also so I'm actually pretty pumped for it! Plus lots of pictures! And getting to get all dressed up for the night!
Well that's pretty much all I can think of at the moment. Hope my first time wasn't too bad!
