Summer is finally here! I'm sure Hannah, Mom, and I would all agree
we have been looking forward to it for a VERY long time! :) Although the last day of school was a little hectic for me, I was very fun and it makes me realize have much fun next year will be! It also makes me realize my time at Bucklin High School and the time remaining with all my class is almost over and I must make the most of this final year. Here are a couple of pictures of the last day!
Class of 2013
Officially a SENIOR!
This summer will be very busy though. Hannah is now babysitting the three little boys I watched last year because I decided two jobs might be a little too overwhelming for me! They love her and I know she'll have a blast with them. She will also be playing summer basketball, attending a school volleyball camp, and getting ready for her cheer leading season! (My baby sissy is a cheerleader! Never thought I would say that!) I am working at the pool in Bucklin as a lifeguard this year. Now, before you chuckle under your breath about how easy that job would be, let me first inform you it is not as easy as it sounds! I had a three day class back in April for Life guarding, First Aid/AED, and CPR. (This girl is officially certified in all those now! (: ) Plus, I had a day of in-service last Wednesday. Tomorrow is my first day and yes, I am a tad bit nervous! It's a big responsibility making sure everyone there is safe. Mom, is painting again at the school this summer and then once she's done with that she'll be helping Nana with the boys. Dad, is doing nothing different, but could possibly be home more this summer since harvest is starting so soon! :) <-- that is exciting! haha.
The thought of summer is slightly saddening though, because I definitely have very mixed emotions about being a senior and so does everyone else in this family! Ha, on the way home from graduation we were all teary eyed. Sometimes, I dread the thought of not being at home every night with the fam or not being with my classmates everyday. :( I don't want to leave them all yet! Other times, I get excited about not doing the exact same thing everyday and finding out what God has planned for my future. My schedule for the next school year looks easy, which will be new for me. I have had packed/stressful schedules in the past so I'm happy about an easy year! Also, Hannah is not to excited for 7th grade for some reason... I don't know why though, she will be my favorite Junior High-er still! ;) I can't wait to see how she advances this year in her sports. She had a great athletic year for a 6th grader last year so I'm expecting much more this year! I'm a proud big sister let me tell you! She looks so cute in her cheer uniform too!
Many more blogs to come this summer! Be looking for them! :)
